You can spend countless hours exploring our parks, and even more time on our legendary trail systems.

Friday Cruise-Ins at the Outlets of Des Moines

Check out Friday Cruise-Ins at the Outlets of Des Moines, hosted by the Iowa Street Rod Association!
These events will be held from 4-8 p.m. on May 6th & 20th, June 3rd & 17th, July 1st & 15th, August 5th & 19th, and September 2nd & 16th.

Olde Town Farmer’s Market
If you’re looking for local produce, fresh eats, and friendly vendors, you’ve come to the right place!
Stop by the Olde Town Farmer’s Market on Thursdays from 4-7 p.m., from June 2nd to September 29th.
The farmer’s market is an exciting part of the (new) Olde Towne Business Association’s historic downtown revitalization efforts. It’s a great time. Plus, it’s benefitting our community.

Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel
Prairie Meadows is always a great spot for grown-up fun, especially in the summer.
Their famous horse races are already off to a quick start this season. But don’t worry, they’ll run until October 2nd—there’s plenty of action left!
