This weekend, a local Shiba Inu took her owners on a spin through Altoona to sniff out the best doggie destinations in town! For those who don’t know, the Café is a casual dining spot located on Level 1 of Prairie Meadows, near the hotel entrance. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays, it’s a go-to spot for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. After being closed for more than a year, Prairie Meadows’ casual-dining restaurant, Café at the Meadows, has reopened. This local favorite is serving up breakfast classics, along with a variety of first-rate burgers, sandwiches and salads.
