Just a short drive away from Des Moines, Sam Wise Youth Sports Complex in Altoona, Iowa is home to 8 softball diamonds, 7 baseball diamonds and 5 practice fields.
The facility is outfitted with 4 lit fields (2 softball, 2 baseball)—making it an ideal location for major events like the USSSA Heartland Classic College Exposure Youth Fastpitch Tournament, GAGSA Battle of the Burbs Softball Tournament, and others.
New Facility Upgrades & Great Amenities
Sam Wise Youth Sports Complex recently underwent an extensive round of renovations. It’s now equipped with NEW fields, dugouts, fencing and lighting!
That’s not to mention the park’s comfortable amenities.
