Veteran’s Day Celebration Ceremony
Prairie Meadows and Polk County are hosting a Veterans Day Celebration, “Saluting Our Veterans” to honor veterans for their service on Friday, November 10 at The Meadows Event Center at Prairie Meadows. In honor of our nation’s heroes, veterans and the general public are invited to a free celebration ceremony and lunch.
The formal program will begin at 11 a.m. with presentation of colors by Polk County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard, the National Anthem performed by Southeast Polk’s Chamber Ensemble Choir, and Pledge of Allegiance. The celebration also includes remarks from keynote speaker Major, USMC (Retired) Sean Quinlan. Guests will enjoy patriotic music, remarks from local and state officials, and free lunch for all attendees. This event offers a chance to express gratitude to veterans and is open to the public.
