Altoona Weekend Roundup: Aug. 21-23

Give it a few weeks, and we’ll be breaking out the flannel and earmuffs, clutching our pumpkin spice lattes around the fire and streaming The Nightmare Before Christmas on repeat.

In the meantime, we have to soak up every minute of summer.

This weekend, the forecast shows clear skies and mild temps for Altoona—the perfect weather for an outdoor event. Luckily for us, three Altoona venues are hosting outdoor concerts – Prairie Meadows, Adventureland and Haines Park – giving us yet another reason to get outside and enjoy summer while it lasts.
